    Forget the “Shoulds”. Ditch the perfect image that you have in your mind. The picture may not have all smiling faces, the kids may not love every gift, the food may not turn out just as you wanted. And, it will all be okay. The thing about perfection is this, it’s impossible to reach. Most of our negative feelings are the result of negative thoughts. “Shoulds” or perfectionistic standards give you a 50/50 shot of happiness because that’s the odds you have of meeting them. Focus on what IS going well. Meditate on what is and allow it to be well with your soul.
