Jill Blake is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker specializing in providing individual, group, and family therapy for children, teens, and their families. Jill is a graduate of Washburn University and has worked with young people in schools, correctional facilities, and in outpatient mental health services for several years. She brings a vast array of experience to Psychological Health Services, LLC and the communities that we serve.
Jill works to provide treatment that research has proven to be the most effective allowing those that she serves to gain the most they can from their investment in therapy. She has been described as a “super hero” in the way she helps children feel better. She has helped many children and teens overcome anxiety and behavior related struggles that were interfering in their lives at home and school. Jill uses creative play and activity based interventions to engage children and teens in learning practical skills that they can use in daily life to feel better and be their best selves.
Jill has advanced training in identifying and treating Autism Spectrum disorders. She is experienced and has a passion for helping children with disruptive behavior and attention struggles and is creative in assisting parents and teachers with interventions and tools that can be used in daily life. Jill is currently working towards a certification in play therapy; a valuable specialized training in meeting children where they learn best, play. Jill has a passion for helping young people live in their full potential and a talent for helping children become their best selves.
